Chris Camden joins The Firebird Band
His first show with us will be at Webster Hall in NYC on the 8th w/ Mindless Self Indulgence!
He played with Liar's Academy before he decided to rock with us... Robert Bock (Of the Opera) will be playing keyboards with us in NYC as Jess will be held up in Denver... but she'll be out for the rest of our shows this summer. thanks for making the show kick ass... and for those of you who hung out late, thanks for hangin' out afterwards... tons of pictures of the afterparty to post somewhere soon.. maybe the new LUCID SITE when it finally gets done! seriously, East Lansing tonight was AMAZING as well! you kids are the best! we had no idea what to expect, but it was amazing! thanks for all of the enthusiasm and wonderful applause! laptop and notebooks, passport and drugs
so i had my bag stolen out of our van outside of Ace's basemenet a few nights ago. Shit.
lost my laptop, my passport, over $800 in prescription drugs, notebooks from the last year of touring and writing (words, lyrics journal entries- and more), and other shit. in my laptop were 15 or so new song ideas being worked out in Reason for my solo record and the next album by The Firebird Band. i guess it is time to start fresh. maybe it is a sign... FUCK... i wish they would have taken my guitar, or my amp or something. that is replaceable. this other shit is not. fuckers. i hope they get hit by a car. or O.D. on my prescription after they throw my notebooks and other shit that they have no use for into the dumpster. posted by chris on Oct 21, 2004.
